How long is the waiting time for a US visa?

Business travelers or tourists traveling to the United States can apply for an ESTA. The waiting time for an ESTA is on average 25 minutes. However, in special cases it can take up to 72 hours. If your ESTA is denied or your trip to the US has nothing to do with business travel or tourism, you will need to apply for a regular visa at the US embassy in Copenhagen.

The processing time for a visa to the USA is given as 1 week, but can take longer in special cases.
